• After a strong 2017 for Food & Beverage M&A, the industry experienced a slight dip in volume and value. Despite this decrease, deal flow is still at historically high levels and should see continued momentum in 2018.
• Strategic buyers continue to dominate Food & Beverage deal activity, however, Q1 demonstrated a continued increase in financial buyer interest as private equity groups look for established brands that require capital and strategic insight to drive growth.
