Bob Coury is a Managing Director & CEO of Greenwich Capital Group focused on mergers & acquisitions (M&A), financial analytics, business strategy and capital advisory. Bob leverages 30 years of capital markets experience at several large global financial services firms to provide advisory services for private companies, divisions of public companies and private equity firms.
Bob has expertise across a wide range of industries including manufacturing (e.g., automotive, aerospace and defense, business equipment and general industrial), consumer products, business services, technology, as well as medical and dental equipment. Prior to GCG, Bob was the National Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Corporate Finance LLC (DCF) where he led the investment banking and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) practices. Additionally, Bob was instrumental in establishing and growing DCF through recruitment and training, business operations oversight and new business generation.
Prior to DCF, Bob worked at Coopers & Lybrand where he focused on business valuation, strategic valuation and M&A advisory. Bob was a key member of a specialized team that provided strategic valuations for businesses, evaluating profitability by product line, customer and facility. Prior to Coopers & Lybrand, Bob was a bond trader at Comerica Bank where he managed approximately $1 billion in fixed assets and specialized in mortgage-backed securities and U.S. Treasury securities.
