  • In Q2 2022, there were 65 announced E-Commerce transactions, down from 117 in Q1 and down from 126 in the prior year’s Q2. Despite the lower volume of deals, average deal value increased to $84 million, up from $55 million in Q1.

  • Direct to Consumer E-Commerce sales of established brands are now growing faster than those of DNVBs (Digitally Native Vertical Brands). In 2021, they outpaced DNVB growth (27.2% versus 19.8%), and the trend is expected to continue in 2022.
