Joseph Schmitt - Greenwich Capital Group

Joe Schmitt is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of Greenwich Capital Group with over 20 years of corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) experience. Joe leads the Healthcare practice for GCG, including extensive experience with providers, including hospital systems, physician practice management and ancillary services. Joe has advised both buyers and sellers of privately held companies and divisions of public companies on various types of engagements including acquisition reviews, sale mandates and strategic options analyses.

Prior to joining GCG, Joe served as Chief Financial Officer of a middle-market utility services company where he acted as a strategic advisor to the shareholders and managed the business through a period of growth and transition. Previously, he was a Vice President with Deloitte Corporate Finance LLC where he focused on M&A, capital advisory and business strategy. Joe has executed more than 50 investment banking engagements and performed advanced financial modeling, including entity valuations, transaction executing and structuring. Joe has experience across various industries and has developed an expertise in the healthcare, business services and general industrial sectors.
