Frank A. McGrew IV is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Industrial Group at Greenwich Capital Group. With over 35 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, private equity, and family business dynamics, he has structured and raised more than $5 billion in capital and advised on over $10 billion in transactions for private and public entities, primarily in the middle market. Frank is a recognized industry expert, frequent speaker, and contributor to publications on investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and family business exit planning. He also harnesses his deep relationships with private equity capital and family offices while supporting and playing a senior leadership role across overall firm M&A and client assignments.
Previously, Frank opened J.P. Morgan’s Nashville office as part of its Regional Investment Bank, delivering strategic and capital markets solutions nationwide and helping grow JPM’s middle market healthcare practice. He also served as Managing Partner at McNally Capital, leading Merchant Banking and Direct Investing efforts, and as Managing Director at Raymond James (formerly Morgan Keegan), covering diversified industrial and manufacturing sectors. Earlier roles at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and Salomon Brothers provided global investment banking and M&A experience across the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
Frank’s career includes operating and principal investment roles. At Buckeye Technologies (NYSE: BKI), he led financial strategy, treasury, investor relations, and M&A. He co-founded Paradigm Capital Partners, a family office-backed private equity and venture firm, and co-created “Memphis Angels” with McKinsey & Co. He has served on public and private boards, including Sevan Multi-Site Solutions and Lumatrak, and previously led a control investment round for Internet Pictures (NASDAQ: IPIX). His nonprofit work includes the Nashville Zoo, American Heart Association, and Boy Scouts of America. He chairs the SMU Cox Alumni Board and Don Jackson Fellows Program and serves on the SMU Cox Executive Board.
Frank holds an MBA from Wharton and a BBA from Southern Methodist University. He resides in Nashville with his wife and two daughters.
